This fellah won $240,000 when he was a race horse! Now in his later years he needs some dignity, and love.
Thanks to all who have pledged to sponsor Tally! Without you we would not be able to rescue him. It's sad that owners are not required to put aside some of what a horse like this wins for their care after they retire.
Tally's in pretty bad condition, needs lots of hay, good quality feed, and fat supplements. He is a sweet old fellah, and has lost the life in his eyes.
Life has beat Tally up, but we will try our hardest to bring him back to the vibrant horse he once was. We will show Tally life can be good again, and we'll make sure to find him a forever home where he can be happy, loved and well taken care of.

We purchase horses directly from the kill pens, sometimes hours before they ship to the slaughter plants in Canada and Mexico. We take the horses other rescues won't and believe in miracles, and in life. We are non profit and supported only through donations and the hard work of volunteers.
