Annabelle (AVAILABLE)
Are you looking for a horse that loves attention from her human companions? Or how about a horse that can only be a light riding horse (walk, trot)? Or a horse that needs to be turned out on her own but with a companion in sight? Then Annabelle is your girl! Annabelle was saved at an Ohio auction in June 2016 when ACE Rescue outbid a kill buyer for her purchase. She stands very nicely in cross ties while enjoying being loved on and groomed by the volunteers. She has not gotten along with any of our other equines but has not minded sharing a fence with some of them. If you think you are a good fit for Annabelle, please contact us.  Adoption fee:  $300

Zac is a Thoroughbred gelding foaled in 2006. He has no racing history or track experience. Due to the fact that he was not gelded, his owner was not permitted to turn him outside at the boarding facility due to inadequate fencing that could have given him unwanted access to the mares that were out. As a result, Zac stood in a 10x10 stall for the first six years of his life as a stallion. He was going to be sent to auction when ACE stepped in. Zac has been ridden under saddle, but can only be adopted by someone with extensive riding experience. He would be best matched with a trainer/owner or an owner who works closely with a specialized trainer. He needs a rider who can build his confidence both during ground work and under saddle, as he often lacks confidence when he is unsure of his surroundings. Adoption fee $350.
